Have you ever felt that something is deeply off – not just in the world, but in the way you've been taught to see it?
Have you ever wondered why there are so many signs of suffering while Peace is said to be the ultimate reality?
Peace is indeed the ultimate reality, but not in the way you believe or think it is. Belief and thought are, in truth, the activity that prevents you from truly seeing clearly the reality that is intrinsic to you.
It is in the nature of thought and belief to filter, distort, and overlay what is already here, for they are merely navigation tools mistaken for identity.
Whereas Presence or Awareness is what you fundamentally are and what is fundamentally real. It is effortlessly revealed through present-moment awareness, when you relax your attention and redirect it from the outer noise of the mind and world, to the felt inner stillness of Being.
Presence is the deeper dimension of Being which is the equivalent of joy and perpetual peace.
To realize this is Spiritual Awakening and with it, you transcend suffering.
Spiritual Awakening, if it is interpreted by an unobserved and therefore spiritually asleep mind, can induce fear, pointlessness, apathy, hopelessness and many other uncomfortable sensations or contradictions, especially when you don't know what is happening. This is known as The Dark Night Of The Soul and by nurturing Presence into your experiences, you can transform and transmute challenges to serve you well on your spiritual awakening path.
Suffering is a product of spiritual unconsciousness and of lack of inquiry into your own nature.
Without conscious and sincere self-inquiry, the world will appear to challenge you in ways that seem unfair or painful to you.
However, especially during turbulent times, suffering can serve as a powerful wake up call, if you are willing to be present with whatever arises while remaining rooted in truth.
