Beyond the Illusion of Lack: Discovering True Abundance Through Nature and Presence

Do the fingers act separately from the hand?
Do the petals of a flower behave independently from the flower?
Is the wind separate from the air when it blows?
Or are the trees in the forest separate from the forest?
Is the air separate from the breath of all living and non-living things?
Or is the clay separate from your bodies?
No. Nothing in nature is ever separate nor it claims to be so.
Nothing in nature will ever claim to be this or that; nature simply is; the world simply is;
And your body is nature.
Nature is the greatest teacher of divine presence and oneness.
Put labels aside.
Immerse yourself in nature and exchange life force. Nature is always unconditionally giving. Everything in nature is an amplification of life force; a signature of unconditional love and abundance. Breathe life in when you sit under a tree and exhale life back to nature consciously. Gently touch a flower or a leaf and remember that you are exchanging presence, life, abundance.
True abundance is not money. Not only money. What is money but a distorted invention born from the illusion of lack of unconscious systems which leads to the desire of wealth that keeps you in a loop of scarcity, of wanting, of seeking, of desperation, of illusive poverty?
What a contradiction.
Of course, for as long as it is still used as an exchange method in this world, you may still benefit from it. But it is important to remain neutral and realize it is an invented substitute to the abundance that is already free and yours by birthright. There is no need to be attached to it when the Intelligence of Life knows how to deliver by being truly aligned with the frequency of what you truly are.
The Light of Awareness does the rest - no effort or revolution is needed, just clear seeing of the distortion so that it can be dissolved from you. It all starts within you.
If you become identified and attached to this form of abundance only, you limit yourself from receiving what you truly need. Money is a temporary distraction from the abundance hidden in plain sight, here and now, within you. What is within is only after mirrored outward. Within because you are Source, simultaneously containing everything within you, and outward because nature is your mirror. One that is abundant, vibrant, full, unconditionally giving and loving.
But it gives and it loves unconditionally according to what you command it through your beliefs, thoughts and emotions. Once you consciously begin to nurture that garden within with positive beliefs, thoughts and emotions, it will bear fruit from without too and not only in the form of money, but most importantly through synchronicity, joy, peace. The more aligned you are with your natural Source Self, the more the world conspires to manifest abundance for you in any way, shape or form. The secret is to not condition how it comes to you or you will simply limit the infinite ways of that manifestation.
You cannot expect or force a mirror to smile first.
But the human being, with the gift of intelligence and self-reflection, has chosen conceptualize nature into 'this and that' and thus experiences life thinking that he or she is separate from the flowers, the wind, the forest, the air; separate from the Cosmos and thus from the abundance of Source. From that idea of separation, nature, instead of being regarded as part and parcel of the human being, has begun to be exploited and fought against. Through this ignorance, humanity has unconsciously planted seeds of pain, suffering and fear into nature, and therefore nature is delivering fruits that grow from those same seeds.
Imagine if humanity would plant seeds of peace, joy and compassion.
Humans would fight to the death to protect their own bodies or the convictions they so dearly love, to the detriment of nature, forgetting their oneness with it.
Such a distorted love is this identification with your body made of clay.
To see and to believe yourself to be clay, you will leave this world as clay never having known the divinity within, until, one way or another, you choose to remember.
Either way, there is no right or wrong. Whatever you choose eventually reminds you of your true nature, whether it is in this experience of life or not. Because ultimately, everything is a spiritual lesson in this grand simulation called reality.
Not just the simulation of the physical world, but there are infinite worlds within Source that are simultaneously experienced consciously or unconsciously, many of which are not physical at all.
Not only are you an infinite, timeless being but you are also multidimensional; even if your temporary experience as a human being is heaven or hell, you always remain that which you've always been in essence. But to alleviate the suffering of your temple which is your temporary form, you are invited to self-inquiry and to non-conceptual contemplation. Use them interchangeably, and with diligence and honesty, you may reach beyond the thought of 'this and that,' which creates division, and reveal the immovable essence that has always been hiding deep within. The essence that brings about true peace.
Trust with an unwavering conviction that what you are is pure joy and peace. I do not ask you to develop another belief, but to renounce all beliefs for they are only limitations. While suffering may seem genuine, it is not the ultimate reality. Whatever your thoughts may say to you that makes you suffer, is ultimately just a thought, just a story, that once it is seen, you realize it is not the true you; you realize you have the power to stop the voice that narrates it, to put an end to this voice without any effort, simply by shining the Light of Awareness over it and see it as not you.
What can be seen (a thought, feeling, emotion, perception, sensation etc) is not you, but only an activity happening within you, because in order for something to be seen it must stand apart from you.
Practices of presence
Before "my" spontaneous realization of Oneness, I used to sit with flowers on my desk and contemplate on them. I would not think of the color, shape, or fragrance but just curiously watch them, without associating any mental concept or label.
I would scan the features of the flower with my gaze but without an internal dialogue about it. You could as well contemplate on any natural or artificial object of your preference - a picture, a crystal, a toy, a fruit, preferably without any writings on it, as that would pull you into conceptual thinking again. However, there is an energy about natural objects which is more vibrant than any artificial one. The exchange is amplified; there are codes of wisdom shared in silence. While an artificial object could also have the same effect, it may take longer to attune, and what you attune to is, well, artificial. Whereas a natural object like a leaf, a rock, a crystal, a flower, a fruit, are direct conduits of divine frequency.
At the time, I didn't know what I was doing on the conceptual level, but later I realized that I was inviting presence in that exchange with the flower. That the flower itself was sharing its presence with me until the seeing and the seen became one.
At other times, I would recognize that I am aware of the flower, then I would take a step back, figuratively speaking, and watch myself being aware. In this way, I would suddenly be aware of being aware. And even if, in the beginning, these glimpses of multilayered awareness without thought would be quite short, I did not force myself. I allowed it to unfold naturally. If I felt any effort being made, or the body began to feel tired, I would continue with my day or allow myself to rest without forcing any more experiences. But I would always return to presence with enthusiasm and innocence. At that time it felt like a mother's loving embrace or like the relief of returning to my true home.
Continue to sit in contemplation with a leaf, a flower or a rock. Let them teach you what words cannot. See yourself in them as you are. Free of labels, free of judgements, free of worry and of suffering. Serene and pure. And continue with your day when you feel like forcing yourself. But keep the voice of discernment close and don't fool yourself by avoiding presence. The mind can be mischievous, it can tell you 'I'm too tired', 'I don't feel ready', 'I will do it later', 'I don't have time.' or the biggest lie of all, "I will be present when this and that will happen so I can feel at peace". Only presence is the universal peace. Anything else is temporary. If you do fall into the mind's traps, it's alright. Release any judgement and return to presence.
